With a solid science-based education from Iowa Western and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Taylor's journey into the world of dentistry has been marked by a commitment to excellence.

In 2015, Taylor embarked on a fulfilling career path, following her long-time interest in dentistry by becoming a dental assistant alongside Dr. Schrad. Since then, Taylor has worn many hats here at City View Dental. Her diverse skill set and deep understanding of the dental field make her an invaluable asset to both our team and our patients.

Outside of her professional life, Taylor has a passion for cooking. She's also a fan of live music. Taylor's heart belongs to her family, friends, and her two adorable Min-Pins, who bring endless joy to her life.

Bringing enthusiasm, compassion, and a genuine love for people to her role at City View Dental, Julia is excited to begin her journey in the dental field. She draws on years of experience working with people in various roles, where she developed strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a natural ability to put others at ease. Patients will quickly notice her warm smile and the care she puts into making every visit feel welcoming and comfortable.

She takes pride in being a friendly face patients can rely on, whether she’s answering questions, guiding them through their visit, or simply brightening their day with a kind word. For her, dentistry is about more than teeth—it’s about people, and she is passionate about building those connections.

Outside the office, she enjoys relaxing with a good book, spending time in local coffee shops with friends, and exploring the shops and restaurants of Downtown Omaha.

Even from miles away, Gwen brings warmth and connection to City View Dental as the welcoming voice behind the phone. Working remotely, she takes pride in making every patient feel cared for from their very first call, whether she’s answering questions, scheduling appointments, or simply offering reassurance.

A wife and proud mom of four, Gwen understands the value of patience, empathy, and clear communication—qualities that shine through in every interaction. For nearly two years, she’s been a key part of the City View team, helping patients feel at ease and supported no matter where they are in their dental journey.

Outside of work, Gwen loves spending time with her family, especially traveling together, hiking, or relaxing at the beach. She’s also an avid reader and enjoys finding new stories to dive into. While she may not greet patients in person, her dedication ensures that everyone who calls City View feels welcomed, understood, and genuinely cared for.

Colleen's journey into the world of dental hygiene is a unique one. She initially pursued a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Bellevue University, showcasing her diverse interests. However, her passion for dental health eventually led her to embark on a fulfilling career in dental hygiene. In 2006, she graduated from Iowa Western Community College, setting her on the path to making a positive impact on countless smiles.

Before joining the City View Dental team, Colleen served as a faculty member at Iowa Western Community College's Dental Hygiene program. Colleen's enthusiasm for oral health and her genuine care for her patients make her an invaluable member of the City View Dental team. When you visit our practice, you can trust that Colleen will provide you with exceptional dental care and a friendly smile that brightens your day.

Outside the dental office, Colleen enjoys activities like running, reading, and baking. Colleen, originally hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, now proudly calls Council Bluffs, Iowa home. She shares her life with her loving husband, three wonderful children, and two adorable Maltipoos who bring boundless joy to her household.

Angela brings a grounding presence to City View Dental, where her calm, reassuring approach helps patients feel relaxed and cared for from the moment they sit in her chair. With 14 years of experience as a dental hygienist, she has developed not only strong clinical skills but also a gift for building trust and connection with patients of all ages. Over the past year at City View, Angela has quickly become a valued part of the team, known for the steady confidence and genuine compassion she brings to every appointment.

Outside the office, Angela shares her passion for wellness as a yoga instructor, teaching classes for dental students at Creighton University as well as for her colleagues at City View. She also enjoys the gym and spending time outdoors with her kids, balancing her love of movement with quality family time. Whether she’s guiding patients through their dental visit or leading a yoga practice, Angela’s calm energy and genuine care shine through in everything she does.

Rossy brings curiosity, warmth, and a love for connection to her role as a dental hygienist at City View Dental. With a passion for exploring new places and meeting people, she approaches both travel and patient care with the same sense of openness and appreciation. Traveling has deepened her connection to her Mexican roots and broadened her understanding of different cultures—something she carries into her work each day through empathy, respect, and genuine care.

As a preventive dental health specialist, Rossy is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and informed. She’s especially passionate about educating others on how oral health is the foundation of overall wellness. Rossy takes pride in connecting with Spanish-speaking patients and ensuring they feel truly seen, heard, and understood—something that reflects both her cultural pride and her commitment to inclusivity.

Outside the clinic, Rossy loves spending time outdoors with her dog, discovering new destinations, and hosting through Airbnb. Her entrepreneurial spirit and love for hospitality allow her to share the same warmth she brings to her patients—making people feel welcome and at ease wherever they are.

Chris is a dedicated dental assistant at City View Dental, bringing a passion for dental care and a commitment to patient well-being to our practice. A recent graduate of the Dental Assistant Education Center (DAEC) Class of 2023. Chris's dedication to the field was evident from the beginning, as all of their clinical hours were completed right here at City View Dental. This hands-on experience has allowed Chris to become intimately familiar with our practice and our patients, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Chris’s dream career lies in a unique and fascinating niche – to become a fangsmith. This aspiration reflects Chris's creativity and flair for the extraordinary, a quality that makes him a valuable member of our team.

Outside of the dental world, Chris enjoys spending his spare time playing video games, enjoying his two cats who serve as a source of endless amusement. Chris is also passionate about soccer, whether it's playing with friends or cheering for his favorite team.

Alex brings a refreshing perspective and a wealth of customer care experience to our team at City View Dental. As a dental assistant, she seamlessly combines her passion for serving others with her commitment to making every patient's dental experience exceptional.
